How we estimate

A written price, line by line.

After the walkthrough you get an itemized estimate: demolition, materials, labor and cleanup, each on its own line. You can see what a different tile or a simpler shower would change. Nothing is buried in a lump sum.

    Straight answers.

    Why publish prices at all?
    Because you are going to ask, and you deserve a straight answer before you give up an evening for a walkthrough. Ranges let you plan. The estimate makes it exact.
    Why are the ranges so wide?
    A hall bath with stock tile and a primary bath with a freestanding tub are both a bathroom remodel. The tiers narrow it down. The walkthrough narrows it to one number.
    Will my estimate come in at the low end?
    If your project fits the refresh scope, yes. If it is a full remodel with stone and a custom shower, no, and we will say so at the walkthrough instead of surprising you later.
    Can we do the work in phases?
    Often. Floors this year, kitchen next. Tell us the whole plan and we will sequence it so nothing gets torn up twice.
    Is the walkthrough and estimate really free?
    Yes. The walkthrough and the written estimate cost nothing and put you under no obligation.
    How do payments work?
    Ask about payment terms when you get the estimate and Oscar will walk you through it. Financing is available for larger projects.
